PixelScrapper October 2014 Blog Train: Autumn Art

(Here's the link to the official PixelScrapper Blog Train post: HERE.)

I almost missed this one! In fact,it was Oct 1st when I saw the train go live, and I decided on the spot that I wanted to participate. So... that's why these are late! And, of course, I got totally carried away... which, I hope, is totally yo your benefit! LOL.

Apparently, these colours were really speaking to me about stripes - dotted stripes, straight stripes, ziz-zag stripes, etc! :D
Quite a few of the packs ended up dark (and LARGE - so beware the file sizes, sorry), but I was really thinking of backgrounds that spots and splatters might look good on, like drop cloths. In the end, my kits kind of remind me of the gypsy-style caravan tapestries and clothing I'd see at my local Renaissance Festival - which is rather fitting since it starts up in Sept and runs through Oct. ;) I was going to go with the leafy theme that everyone else seemed to be going with, but I just wasn't feeling it. /shrugs

    1. I like to aim for diversity with my papers. Sometimes palettes cross enough in different projects that one might be able to borrow papers from other kits and whatnot. So, I like to make things that fit the "feel" of a kit but aren't TOO specific; I don't want to limit creativity. :)
I am glad that you like them and I hope you'll enjoy using them. Thank you for your kind words and for downloading!!

    1. Well, honestly, it's partly because I don't really know much of any other way to do things. But, mostly it's because I have been shown so much generosity from other people and this is just one very small way that I can "pay it forward". And the rest is because I think that we make the world a better place by being generous.

    1. You know, I just kind of got in a groove, so it really didn't seem like much work at all. I just started throwin' colours and textures together and had a real fun time doing it. ;)

I hope you'll stop by again from time to time. I post nuthin' but freebies here, most of them are CU4CU, they'll always be free, and I try to participate at least in the PixelScrapper blog train every month (as long as my schedule allows). So I plan to keep updating!

    1. I am glad to hear that you are enjoying them. With PS blog trains being SO HUGE, I TOTALLY understand missing stuff!! LOL! No sweat, though, these aren't going anywhere, so overlooking mine isn't quite as disastrous as missing one of the designers that only offer it for a short period of time! lol.
Thanks for stopping by and giving feedback; I appreciate it! :D
